Her passion for service inspired the creation of PAW. What began as a single act of compassion following an encounter with a woman experiencing homelessness became the catalyst for something much greater. That experience challenged Akia to think beyond helping one individual and inspired a vision of building an organization capable of transforming countless lives. From that moment forward, she became committed to creating more than an organization—she set out to build a lasting movement.

Akia envisions a community where women are inspired to dream bigger, supported through genuine sisterhood, and empowered to become the strongest version of themselves. She believes that true empowerment extends beyond motivation alone. While inspiration may ignite the desire for change, lasting transformation comes through education, practical skills, personal growth, healing, and the confidence to pursue new opportunities. Her philosophy is simple: when people are equipped with the right tools and encouraged to recognize their own potential, they become capable of changing not only their own lives but also the lives of those around them.

As a leader, Akia is passionate about developing people rather than simply leading them.
